Registering a handset to the base unit 1 Base unit: NKX-TGP500 series Press and hold {ALL} for about 4 seconds until the STATUS indicator flashes in red. NKX-TGP550 series Press and hold {ALL} for about 4 seconds until the registration tone sounds and the STATUS indicator flashes in red.
