Switching the Handset On/Off When the handset is placed on the base station or charging unit, it switches on automatically and starts to charge up. Allow the batteries to be charged for 14 hours without interruption the first time they are charged. The telephone does not have an On/Off switch. Taking Calls When an external call is received, all the handsets registered and the base station ring. Handset is in the base station 1. Phone Book The MOTOROLA telephone can store up to 30 entries in the phone book with name and call number. Store Entries 1. Press the key as often as necessary until the PHONE BOOK menu appears. 2.
