Warning Short stock – Never shape stock less than 12 inches in length without special fixtures. Cleaning Exposed metal surfaces, such as the table top and extension wings, have been given a protective coating at the factory. This should be removed with a soft cloth moistened with kerosene. Ram Dial Calibration The guard and spindle should be removed. Referring to Figure 12: 1. Loosen the infeed fence lock knob (E), then turn the infeed ram dial (D) counterclockwise to bring the infeed fence (F) back all the way until the limiter setscrew (P) touches the head casting (M). Spindle Gib Adjustment Referring to Figure 13: The spindle housing gib on your machine is factory adjusted and initially should not require readjust- ment.
