How to Use the On Screen Menu The screen displays five types of information: input signal status, picture adjusting buttons/volume button status, sharpness display, menu display and closed caption display. How to Use the On Screen Menu (continued) Menu display � This is the menu display. [MAIN MENU] � It disappears after approximately 2 minutes of inaction. Displays instructions on menu button operations. Closed caption (CC) display � Use the menu to display and set closed caption display for VIDEO (NTSC) signals. It also allows you to select CAPTION CHANNEL (CC1 to CC4). � When video signals are input while CLOSED CAPTION is set to ON, marker and status displays are not available. 16
