Serial ATA 3Gb/s technology The motherboard supports the Serial ATA 3Gb/s technology through the Serial ATA interfaces. The Serial ATA II 3Gb/s specification provides twice the bandwidth of the current Serial ATA products with a host of new features, including Native Command Queuing (NCQ), and Power Management (PM) Implementation Algorithm. Temperature, fan, and voltage monitoring The CPU temperature is monitored by the ASIC (integrated in the ITE Super I/O) to prevent overheating and damage. The system fan rotations per minute (RPM) is monitored for timely failure detection. The ASIC monitors the voltage levels to ensure stable supply of current for critical components.
