Chapter 1: Getting Help Help and Support Your computer includes Help and Support, an easily accessible collection of help information, troubleshooters, and automated support. Use Help and Support to answer questions about Windows and to help you quickly discover and use the many features of your Gateway computer. Locating your serial number Locating your serial number The label on the side of your computer case contains information that identifies your computer serial number. Gateway Technical Support will need this information if you call for assistance. Uninterruptible power supplies A standby, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) protects your computer from data loss during a total power failure.
