7. FTP Server The FTP Tab allows you to easily setup your FTP Server. You may manage accounts and control the files/folders that are being shared. 8. SMB Server If someone wants to share the NAS disk from the network, they must apply for a user account first. Creating, deleting, modifying and enabling/ disabling accounts can all be done on SMB Server page. 9. IP Configuration Here you can change the NAS to either automatically obtained an IP address or manually set a static IP. When set to Automatic, the NAS will automatically obtain the an assigned IP address which is given by the DHCP server.
