FS-8704-16 Omron FINS Manual Page 1 of 37 1. Omron FINS Description The Ethernet Omron FINS driver allows the FieldServer to transfer data to and from devices over Ethernet using Omron FINS protocol. The FieldServer can emulate either a Server or Client. FINS is an Omron protocol which can be used by a PLC program to transfer data and perform other services with a remote PLC connected on an Ethernet Network.
