Chapter 1 Introduction 1.1 Overview The MVME2500 is a VMEbus board based on the Freescale QorlQ P2010 (single-core) or P2020 (dual-core) processor. It has a 6U form-factor and has an expansion slot for an optional PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC) or PCI eXpress Mezzanine Card (XMC). It comes with either 1 GB or 2 GB of DDR3 SDRAM, and is offered with either IEEE 1101.10 compliant or SCANBE ejector handles.
