You install the client software by starting with a VMSINSTAL command on an OpenVMS system. This places on the OpenVMS system the client software in the form of self-extracting archive files. The next steps depend on your target desktop platform. The use of the Software Products Library CD and VMSINSTAL is described in Chapter 2.
