Adjusting the power cord length You can customize the length of the power cord up to 3 feet so that it is the exact length you desire. To increase the length of the power cord: Grasp the power cord (not the power plug) and gently pull it away from the coffeemaker. Brewing coffee Cleaning the coffeemaker before first use Follow the steps under “Adding water and ground coffee” and “Brewing coffee now,” (pages 4-5) but do not add coffee grounds. Brewing coffee now For models UNIP and UNI$ Place the ON/OFF switch in the ON position. The ON/OFF switch will light, indicating that the coffeemaker is on and the brew cycle will begin.
