Before Your First Use Carefully unpack the coffee maker and remove all packaging materials. Wipe the heating stand with a clean, damp cloth. Do not immerse the heating stand in water or other liquid. To remove any dust that may have accumulated on the removable parts during packaging, wash the carafe, lid and filter basket with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry. We recommend that prior to brewing your first pot of coffee, you “brew” just the cold water without ground coffee or a filter. Th

3. Ensure that the filter basket is properly seated and place the filter into the filter basket. 4. Add coffee ground into the filter. Gently tap the filter basket to distribute the ground coffee evenly. 5. Close the lid and place the carafe on the warming plate. 6. Plug the power cord and press the “ON/OFF” button once. automatically. After brewing, the user can replace the carafe on the warming plate. NOTE: If the coffee maker is left unattended for two hours after brewing, it will be shut off automatically.
