OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS BREWING COFFEE WITH FRESH BEANS Before making the first pot of coffee in your new Coffeemaker with grinder, we recommend operating the coffeemaker once using only water and a paper filter. This will remove any residue in the system which might remain from the manufacturing process. 1. Press the lid release button in front of the coffee maker to open the lid (figure #1).
