Equipment Inspection • Upon receipt of the equipment, inspect the packaging and equipment for shipping damage. • Carefully unpack the equipment and check for parts that may have been damaged during shipping, missing parts, or concealed damage. 2. From Receipt to Storage 2.1 Receipt and Unpacking Each VCB unit is carefully tested and inspected prior to shipment, so it can be used as soon as it has been unpacked. However, just in case something should be amiss, you should check the following: (1) When the box is delivered, check to make sure it is not damaged or warped. Prior to installation, the maximum fault current capacity of the power system at the point of installation should be verified.
