GB 2 • PREPARING YOUR STEAM GENERATOR Fill the boiler : 1. Place your steam generator on a stable, horizontal heat-resistant surface. 2. Ensure that your appliance is disconnected and cold. 3. Unscrew the boiler screw cap. 4. Using a water jug, fill with one litre of water. 5. Fill the boiler, taking care that the water does not spill over (1). If this occurs, remove the excess water. 6. GB 6 • “PRECISION STEAM JET” OR “BURST OF FRESHNESS” FUNCTIONS Your steam generator has a dual function: • “Burst of freshness”; or • “Precision steam jet” . These 2 functions may be used intermittently, and in alternation, according to your ironing needs: • “Burst of freshness”: for long-lasting freshness; or • “Precision steam jet”: precision ironing for hard-to-reach areas. 7 • SELECTION OF THE “PRECISION STEAM JET” OR “BURST OF FRESHNESS” FUNCTION A slide positioned on the front of the iron

GB 8 • “BURST OF FRESHNESS” FUNCTION Move the slide to the downward position: “FRESH ON” (14). Press the button located on the handle of the iron (15).
