Installing or removing driver bit CAUTION : When installing or removing the bit, be careful not to touch the trigger switch. To install the bit, place it in the chuck as far as it will go. Tighten the chuck by hand. Place the chuck key in each of the three holes and tighten clockwise. Be sure to tighten all three chuck holes evenly. Reversing switch action This tool has a reversing switch to change the direction of rotation. Slide the reversing switch to the right for clockwise rotation or to the left for counterclockwise. Bubble level This tool is equipped with a bubble level to aid in holding the tool horizontally. Simply center Bubble level the bubble in the sight window. 7 Screwdriving operation Place the point of the driver bit in the screw head and apply pressure to the tool. Start the tool slowly and then increase the speed grad- ually. Release the trigger just as the screw bottoms out. The electric brake will then stop the tool immediately, preventing the screw and/or bit from being damaged.
