Battery Replacement The thermometer operates on one CR2032 lithium battery (as installed). If readings grow dim or irregular, the battery may need to be replaced. To replace the battery: 1. Gently pull off the silicone backing under the base of the thermometer head. 2. Loosen the screw located inside one of the holes in the base/stem part of the thermometer (The screw will not come all the way out). 3.
