Key Features 1. Earpiece lets you hear the caller and automated prompts. 2. Main LCD (display) displays all the information needed to operate your phone, such as the call status, the Contacts list, the date and time, and the signal and battery strength. 3. Navigation Key lets you navigate quickly and easily through the menu options. These keys can also be reassigned to create customized shortcuts. Default settings are: Right: Contacts, Left: My Favourites, Up: Messaging, and Down: My Content. 4.

15. Side Volume Key allows you to adjust the ringer volume in standby mode or adjust the voice volume during a call. To mute the ringer during an incoming call, press the volume key up or down. The volume key can also be used to scroll up or down to navigate through the different menu options. 16. Side SPEAKER Key lets you place or receive calls in speakerphone mode. 17. Viewing the Display Screen This list identifies the symbols you’ll see on your display screen. indicates your current signal strength. Turning Your Phone On and Off Turning Your Phone On Press and hold . Once your phone is on, it displays “Looking for service...” which indicates that your phone is searching for a signal. Using the Battery Installing the Battery 1. Insert the battery into the opening on the back of the phone and gently press down. 2. Charging the Battery Your phone comes with a rechargeable battery. You should charge the battery as soon as possible so you can begin using your phone. Keeping track of your battery’s charge is important. If your battery level becomes too low, your phone automatically turns off and you will lose all the information you were just working on. Navigating Through Phone Menus The navigation key on your phone allows you to scroll through menus quickly and easily. To navigate through a menu, simply press the navigation key up or down. If you are in a first-level menu (after selecting an item in the main menu), you may also navigate to the next or previous first-level menu by pressing the navigation key right or left.
