ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS FOR INDOOR AND OUTDOOR UNITS INDOOR UNIT 1. The indoor unit is powered from the outdoor unit. A sufficient length of conduit and wiring shall be used from the outdoor unit to the indoor unit. 2. To access the terminal block inside the indoor unit, remove the screw on the cover plate. (See Fig. A.) 3. Connect the inter unit conductors to terminals marked 1,2,3, on the indoor unit corresponding to the same numbered terminals from the outdoor unit. (See Fig.B.) Figure A

REFRIGERATION LINE CONNECTIONS When connecting the refrigerant tubing - Keep all tubing runs as short as possible. - Use the flare method for connecting tubing. - Apply refrigerant lubricant to the matching surfaces of the flare and union tubes before connecting them, then tighten the nut with a torque wrench for a leak-free connection. - Check carefully for leaks before starting the test run.
