When the code is set and turned on, no outgoing calls are allowed and the menu cannot be accessed without entering the correct code first. Hold the phone with the antenna area pointed up and over your shoulder. Select Silence to mute the ringing tone, then Dismiss, or do nothing. The call is eventually diverted to voicemail.
