BASIC FUNCTIONS RECEIVING A CALL A Press any key except ON or the volume keys. An incoming call is indicated by a ringing tone, and the CALL message flashing on the display. If the SILENT SERVICE option (Menu 6) has been selected there will be no ringing tone; the keypad and display lights will flash instead, and only a short beep will be heard (refer to ‘Ringing volume (Menu 6)’, page 37). However, only one emergency number is programmed into your phone to be dialed automatically by one key emergency dialing, which may not be the proper number in all circumstances.
