ASSEMBLING AND ATTACHING BRASS TRIM INSTALLING Note: The instructions below show assembling and attaching brass trim to fireplace. INSTALLATION CLEARANCES INSTALLING Continued WARNING WARNING ICON G 001 Maintain the minimum clearances. If you can, provide greater clearances from floor, ceiling, and adjoining wall. 2. Break off nailing flanges (see Figure 8) with hammer or pliers. INSTALLING 3. Place mantel and base in desired location. Place heater in front opening of mantel. Make sure all pieces fit properly. The installer must supply an external regulator. The external regulator will reduce INSTALLING incoming gas pressure. You must reduce incoming gas pressure to between 11 and 14 inches of water.
