Grounding Grounding The sprayer must be grounded. Grounding reduces the Pails risk of static and electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electrical current due to static build up or in the event of a short circuit. The sprayer cord includes a grounding wire with an appropriate grounding contact. Solvent and oil/based fluids: follow local code.
