~ DETACHING THE CONTROL PANEL You can detach the control panel from the unit and carry it with you when you leave your car unattended. ? 1 if a cassette is inserted, remove it to prevent possible damage to the unit. 2 Press PW to turn the unit off. 3 While supporting the control panel with one hand, press Q to release one side of the panel. Attaching the control panel Cleaning the connector The connector on the reverse side of the control panel needs to be cleaned every so often. Wipe the surface of the connector with a cotton swab slightly moistened with alcohol.
