02 installing your dryer DUCTING REQUIREMENTS � Use a 4-inch (10.2 cm) diameter rigid aluminum or rigid galvanized steel duct. � Do not use a smaller duct. � Ducts larger than 4 inches (10.2 cm) in diameter can cause increased lint accumulation. A 4-WIRE SYSTEM CONNECTION is required for new or remodeled construction, mobile homes, or if local codes do not permit grounding through neutral.
