Putting the Set 830 S into operation Putting the Set 830 S into operation Setting up the transmitter Place the transmitter so that: – there are no obstacles in the light path between trans- mitter and receiver and – transmitter and receiver are not exposed to direct sun- light. Direct sunlight may interfere with the reception and may damage the transmitter. If you are using a plasma TV screen: Plasma TV screens radiate an infra-red signal that can adversely affect the transmission quality.
