2 Installation Rack Installation Ensure that the screws used to attach the rack slide kit do not penetrate more CAUTION than 6 mm into the sides of the unit. Do not block the air intake at the front, or the exhaust at the rear of the unit. The Agilent N5700 power supplies can be mounted in a standard 19- inch rack panel or cabinet. 2 Installation • Unscrew the base of the strain relief from the wire compression nut. Place the locknut inside the AC input cover with the flat side of the nut against the cover. Insert the base through the outside opening of the AC input cover. Screw the base securely onto the locknut from the outside (17 ft-lbs). • Slide the wire compression nut over the AC cable.
