DISC NOTES Preparing New Discs with Rough Spots A new disc may have rough edges on its inside and outside edges. If a disc with rough edges is used, the proper setting will not be performed and the player will not play the disc. Therefore, remove the rough edges in advance by using a ballpoint pen or pencil as shown on the right. To remove the rough edges, press the side of the pen or pencil against the inside and outside edges of the disc. 6

MENU OPERATION 2. DISC OPERATION If there is no disc in the disc slot, in any mode press button on the front panel to slide down the monitor panel then insert a disc into the disc slot, the unit will switch to the Disc mode and play the disc automatically. If there is a disc in the disc slot, press SRC button on the front panel or MODE button on the remote control or tap [DISC] icon on the MENU interface to change the mode to DISC mode, then the unit will play the disc automatically.
