Note: Some manufacturers have several possible codes listed. Try each until you find the correct code. See “If You Have Prob- lems” on Page 20 if you need help. 2. This means that when you select cable, for example, and press one of the volume keys or the mute key, the remote sends that function to the televi- sion instead of the cable converter. However, if you have two or more of the same type of device (two TVs, two VCRs, and so on) you can convert any unused key (TV, CBL, CD, VCR, AUX1, or AUX2) to control another type of device by following these steps. 1.
