STHI Overview Active Circuitry 3 On each TCU port, STHI hubs provide active circuitry which filters, equalizes, and amplifies all received signals before transmitting them to the next point on the ring. The result is enhanced signal integrity and extended maximum station lobe cable distances. General Networking Considerations Crosstalk 2 Crosstalk is interference caused by signal coupling between different cable pairs contained within a multi-pair cable bundle.
