FILTER REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS The AMAIRCARE HEPA Air Filtration System is designed to run continuous- ly. FILTER MEDIA There are three stages of filtration in the AMAIRCARE Air Filtration System. Air is drawn into the top of the unit through the duct opening above the front compartment and is exhausted through the duct opening above the rear fan compartment. The three stages of filtration are as follows: STAGE 1: As air enters the air treatment system it first passes through 3/16” thick activated carbon impregnated non-woven polyester pre-filter.
