Using Your System Arming/Locking Pressing for one second will arm the system and lock the doors. The red LED will begin to flash once per second. The Failsafe® Starter Kill will prevent the vehicle’s starter from crank- ing if it has been installed. If connected, the vehicle's horn will honk and the parking lights will flash once to confirm arming of the system. If the ignition is turned on while the system is armed the horn will honk and the parking lights will flash (if connected). NOTE: You

Disarming/Unlocking To disarm the system and unlock the doors of the vehicle, press for one second. The Failsafe® Starter Kill will be deactivated and the vehicle’s horn (if connected) will honk twice. The parking lights will also flash twice (if connected). The red LED will go out, unless the system is programmed for passive mode. If programmed for passive mode, the LED will begin to flash rapidly when the sys- tem is disarmed. Silent Mode Use the Silent Mode to temporarily turn off the arm or disarm con- firmation honks by briefly pressing before either arming or disarming the system. Panic Mode If you are threatened in or near your vehicle, you can attract attention by triggering the system with your transmitter! Just press for 1.5 seconds, and you will enter Panic Mode.
