Introduction About This Manual This manual discusses how to install, configure, and operate the Extron MGP 464 multi-graphic processor. Installation Installation Overview The MGP 464 processor can be connected to as many as 19 input devices simultaneously, and up to two output devices. Follow these steps to install the MGP 464: 1 Disconnect power to the MGP, and turn off all other devices that will be connected. 2 If desired, mount the MGP. See “Mounting the MGP 464,” below. 3 Attach video input devices to the MGP 464, using the four sets of BNC connectors for the fully configurable inputs and/or the 15 BNC connector

Rear Panel Features The diagram below show the rear panel of the MGP 464 DI, which has four DVI-I input connectors, and the MGP 464 HD-SDI, which has two HD-SDI and two DVI-I input connectors. The standard MGP 464 does not have these DVI/HD-SDI input connectors (although it does have DVI Output and DVI Background connectors).
