During normal conditions, your new subwoofer may be left on continuously without any problems. The unit is equipped with a signal- sensing turn on/ off that will automatically turn on the unit when a signal TM is present at the inputs and turn off the unit after several minutes when SPL-800i there is no longer any signal at the inputs. P LINE-LEVEL CONNECTION – OPTION B TM Figure 2 shows connection from a pre-amplifier’s main outputs to the left SPL-800i and right inputs of your Velodyne subwoofer. You will also need to connect a second pair of RCA cables from the outputs on the back of your subwoofer to the inputs on the back of your amplifier.
