Cooling Requirements To provide proper cooling, the HP VPN Server Appliance SA3150 has air vents on the rear panels, and a cooling fan located inside the front panel and the power supply. Plan to leave a minimum clearance area of 2 inches (5 centimeters) around the side and rear panels. Hardware Installation Mounting Options The HP VPN Server Appliance SA3150 has the following mounting options: • Standalone device • Stationary rack Standalone Device You can place the HP VPN Server Appliance SA3150 on a secure surface as a standalone unit.
