ASSEMBLY NOTE: Many of the illustrations in this manual show only DEPTH CONTROL portions of the compound miter saw. ASSEMBLY INSTALLING THE DUST BAG See Figure 11. Squeeze the metal clips on the dust bag, then slide the metal ring over the end of the dust guide. Position the metal ring so it is between the two molded rings on the dust guide. Release the dust bag clips. ASSEMBLY REMOVING / REPLACING THE ZERO CLEAR- ANCE THROAT PLATE See Figure 15. When squaring the saw blade, it may be necessary to move the throat plate away from the blade. Once the saw’s alignment has been confirmed, return the throat plate to its original position. Never operate the saw without a throat plate installed. Unplug the saw.
