Cleaning Pattern Dirt Dog is a robot that cleans differently than the way most people clean their floors. Battery Storage and Charging Dirt Dog is powered by a Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) rechargeable battery. Dirt Dog’s battery can last for hundreds of cleaning cycles before a replacement is necessary. Battery Life To extend the battery life, we recommend storing Dirt Dog’s battery in the robot with the power supply plugged in, or with Dirt Dog on the Home Base. The Virtual Walls can be set to block an area ranging from three to eight feet long. TIP: Use the V irtual Walls to block doorways or to keep Dirt Dog away from cords. Sending Schedules After setting a cleaning time, you need to send the schedule to Dirt Dog and the scheduling Virtual Walls.
