CHAPTER 1: SAFETY INFORMATION This Safety section contains important instructions that should be followed during installation and maintenance of the APC equipment and batteries. Determine the Location of the Symmetra RM in the Rack 1. Select a location for the Symmetra RM in your NetShelter enclosure or other 19-inch (46.5 cm) rack. Select a location with adequate air flow that is free from excessive dust. Ensure that the air vents on the sides of the Symmetra are not blocked. • The Symmetra RM is heavy.
