Quick Installation 1 Plug the UPS into an outlet on a dedicated circuit. The SMART2500XLHG has an IEC C20 inlet to which the included cord set (C19 to 5-20P) must be connected. Attach the included power cord to the A 1 UPS by inserting the IEC connector of the power cord into the IEC power inlet B located on the back of the UPS. Use C the included bracket to secure the C power cord connection. UL 60601-1 listed UPS systems only meet UL standard 60601-1 for medical equipment

Optional Installation 2 EPO Port Connection This optional feature is only for those applications which require connection to a facility’s Emergency P ower Off (EPO) circuit. Basic Operation Buttons (Front Panel) “ON/OFF/STANDBY” Button • To turn the UPS ON: With the UPS plugged into a live AC wall outlet*, press and hold the “ON/OFF/ST ANDB Y” button for one second.** Release the button.
