Battery Selection Select Battery Type Select “Deep Cycle” batteries to enjo y optimum performance from your In v erter/Char ger . Batteries of either W et-Cell (v ented) or Gel-Cell /Absorbed Glass Mat (sealed) construction are ideal. 6-v olt “golf cart, ” Marine Deep-Cycle or 8D Deep-Cycle batteries are also acceptable.
