Indicators Extreme Voltage Shutdown Indicator Furman’s SMP+ circuit senses sustained voltages that are high enough to cause damage to your components, and shuts the power down before damage can occur. Such conditions can include accidental connection to a 240VAC source (where 120VAC is expected), or an open neutral from a 208 or 240VAC source. The Extreme Voltage Shutdown LED is normally off.
