MM23772, Rev. B 4.2 CHARGING BATTERY PACKS Battery chargers are available from M/A-COM with nominal charge times of one hour. Combinations include single and multi-position, rapid charge units. M/A-COM chargers are rapid chargers specifically designed for charging nickel-based battery packs. MM23772, Rev. B 4.4 CHANGING THE BATTERY PACK 4.4.1 Removing the Battery Pack Make sure the power to the radio is turned OFF. Although the P7200 has been designed to tolerate changing the battery pack without turning power off, M/A-COM, Inc. recommends turning the radio off before changing battery packs to ensure safety and best operation. CAUTION 1. Press the latch at the bottom of the battery pack. 2. Lift the battery pack from the bottom. 3. Remove the battery pack from the radio.
