Inserting the Batteries The camera is powered by two AAA-size alkaline batteries or rechargeable NiMH batteries. Open the battery cover. 1 Slide the battery cover in the direction indicated by the arrows. Insert the batteries. 2 Insert two AAA-size batteries with the positive (+) and negative (-) poles matching the directions indicated inside the battery compartment. Changing the Mode You can record images and voices in the REC mode and use the Playback mode to replay, delete or edit images on the LCD monitor.
