Getting started Getting started Installing and charging the battery pack Before using your camcorder, you first need to install and charge the battery pack. This camcorder operates only with the “InfoLITHIUM” battery. “InfoLITHIUM” is a trademark of Sony Corporation. Installing the battery pack (1) Lift up the viewfinder. Installing and charging the battery pack Charging the battery pack Charge the battery pack on a flat surface without vibration. The battery pack is charged a little in the factory. Hints for better shooting Place the camcorder on a flat surface or use a tripod Try placing the camcorder on a table top or any other flat surface of suitable height.
