Installation and Safety Guide Installing the Router in a Rack 1. Check the rack. � Ensure that the rack is safely secured and that it will not tip over. Devices in a rack should be installed starting at the bottom, with the heavier devices near the bottom of the rack. � Ensure the rack has sufficient space for the router and its associated cables. The router is 1U high. 2. Unscrew the feet from the router, if you have previously attached them. 3. Install cage nuts at the front of the rack so

AR750S-DP Secure VPN Router Installing the Router on a Level Surface 1. Check the level surface. Ensure it has sufficient space for the router and its associated cables. 2. Screw the rubber feet provided into the correct holes on the underside of the router. This will stop the router from slipping, and protect the level surface from scratches. Installation and Safety Guide Using an AT-PWR03 Power Supply (PSU) Warning All AC and DC versions of this equipment must be earthed. Warning The maximum power supply requirements for the AR750S-DP are clearly displayed on the rear of each AT-PWR03 power supply. If the supply is outside the accepted range, the router may not operate, or damage to the router or PSU may result. Use only AT-PWR03 power supplies to power an AR750S-DP Router. Ensure the circuit breaker for the supply circuit is in the off position, and the PSU run/standby button is in the standby position. When the run/standby button is not depressed, it is in standby. 2. Connect the supply cable wires to the circuit breaker, in accordance with the applicable wiring regulations in your region, and in conjunction with any safety guide information for the DC supply unit. Select the LAN PC from which you wish to configure the router.
