HARDWARE INSTALLATION Description of Hardware Setting up the EZ Connect ADSL USB Modem involves connecting the device’s cables and installing the driver software. Note that Windows 98, 98 SE, or 2000 should already be installed on the computer before installing the driver software. HARDWARE INSTALLATION LED Functions The EZ Connect ADSL USB Modem contains two LEDs on the top panel, one is marked “Data” and the other “Power”. The operational status of the modem is indicated by the LED conditions listed below.
