Your telephone’s features Answering Calls When you receive an incoming call, your telephone rings and the LCD indicator flashes. To answer a call, perform one of the following: • Lift the handset. • Press the Handsfree Mute Key (Main DN only) • Press the DN Key beside the flashing LCD indicator . Placing a call on hold Use the hold feature to place a call on hold. An example of where hold would be useful would be to answer a call on a second line without disconnecting from your original call. The other party is on hold and you will hear a dial tone. The LCD indicator lights steadily. 2. Dial the DN that you want to transfer the call to. 3.
