Checking LED Indications CHECKING LED INDICATIONS Your service provider sets up the G.shdsl parameters for your service. The MM701G must have the DSL SYNC LED lit before you can connect sessions with your service provider. Verify SYNC in the following table. MANAGING THE MODEM USING A WEB BROWSER 3 You can manage the MM701G using a Web browser, console port, or a telnet session. All of the MM701G features and functionality are accessible through the Web interface. In contrast, there are some features not supported through the console port. For example, you can enable or disable spanning tree through the Web interface, but not through the console port or telnet. The same principle applies for deleting a WAN session and selecting ATM VBR as a quality

Setting Up the PC SETTING UPTHE PC To access the modem Web interface, set up your PC on the same LAN IP subnet as the MM701G. The default LAN IP subnet for the modem is 10.0.0.0 with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0. However, if you have an existing subnet to accommodate the modem, change the IP address of the modem from the command-line interface as described in“Setting Up the LAN” on page 48.
