Cutterhead Guard Installed Key The cutterhead guard spring tension comes pre- set from the factory. To install the cutterhead guard: 1. Loosen the black plastic knob shown in Figure 6. 2. Pedestal Switch Your jointer comes with a pedestal mounted mag- netic switch for safety and convenience.
