1 Introduction This document describes the ADSL X6v modem's VoIP features. It provides information about the VoIP configuration parameters and explains how to view and modify them using the Configuration Manager interface or by downloading configuration files via the VoIP Subsystem's update mechanism. Downloading Configuration Files Configuration files are prepared and stored on the service provider’s update server. At power up, reboot, or configurable periodic intervals, the VoIP Subsystem can contact an update server. When it contacts the update server, the VoIP Subsystem provides unique identification.
